Airport Salzburg reopened on schedule following refurbishment of its runway.

Niš with Air Serbia is a new addition to the flight schedules, and Israeli carrier Sun d´Or has introduced a new Tel Aviv route. Turkish Airlines is increasing the number of flights to Istanbul. And have you already heard about our Fast Lane service?

New Fast Lane service
Salzburg Airport is offering a new fast track for passengers in a hurry and those who want to get through security without waiting. The lane is located in the entry hall to the right of the new electronic boarding card control gate. Access is restricted to Business and First Class travellers as well as holders of Fast Lane vouchers. These vouchers are available from the SAS Ticket Center and cost EUR 5 each.

New carrier: Air Serbia
Starting in August 2019, Air Serbia will fly to Niš (INI) in Serbia twice a week. The service operates on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings. Air Serbia (formerly JAT) is Serbia’s largest airline and part of the Etihad group. Niš, around 230 kilometres south of the capital Belgrade, is an optimal location from a geographical point of view, thanks to its proximity to interesting destinations including Sofia, Skopje and Priština.

New Tel Aviv service
The first return flights operated by Israeli airline Sun d’Or from Tel Aviv to Salzburg and back will depart on 3 June. The hip and popular destination will be available from Salzburg year round every Monday and Thursday. Flight time is around 3.5 hours.

Turkish Airlines increase Istanbul flights
Turkish Airlines upped the number of weekly flights from seven to ten on 29 May 2019 – the day that marks six years of its Salzburg-Istanbul route. Travellers can catch onward flights to more than 300 destinations in 124 countries worldwide from its Istanbul hub.
